2018 Recap
1 thing Better Foundation Celebrity Pro-AM
The "One Thing Better Foundation Celebrity Pro-Am" Golf Tournament entered its 13th year in 2018 . 25 Teams, that were each allocated a Celebrity/Pro teammate on the day, took on the 7060 yard set up at TPC Craig Ranch.
last year was an overwhelming success, and the award ceremonies, emceed by friend of the Foundation, Lanny Wadkins, presented three donations to supported organizations on behalf of the winning teams and The One Thing Better Foundation. The 2018 recipients were as follows:
1st place - Fort Worth ISD After School Program - $20,000
2nd place – Vernon Wells Perfect 10 Charity - $15,000
3rd place – Miracle League DFW - $15,000
To date, The 1 Thing Better Foundation has contributed over $2 Million in grant support to like minded organizations across North Texas and beyond.
We would like to thank the all the sponsors and participants who have made this event possible, as well as all the staff and volunteers who have helped make the day what it is. We look forward to seeing everyone again Sept 30, 2019, as we continue making a positive impact on many children across the United States, while enjoying a great day with friends and family.
